Srinagar, In a distressing development in Rajouri district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a 27-year-old man named Muhammad Ikhlaq Gujjar was found dead under suspicious circumstances inside a vehicle. This incident has raised concerns among local residents about safety and law enforcement in the area.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Gujjar’s body was discovered at Salani bus stand in Rajouri. The circumstances of his death remain unclear, prompting an investigation by local authorities.
In a related incident, the death of a 45-year-old local man, Ghulam Hussain, in an alleged hit-and-run incident in the Bela Colony area of Rajouri town, sparked a protest demonstration by the community. The family members of the deceased reported that Hussain was walking on the main road of Bela Colony when he was struck by a speeding vehicle.
Hussain was rushed to the Government Medical College (GMC) Associated Hospital in Rajouri but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. The protesters expressed their frustration and concern over the increasing frequency of hit-and-run incidents in the region. They called for immediate and stern action to improve road safety and hold accountable those responsible for such incidents.
