Islamabad: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, has directed an intensified crackdown on criminal activities within the city zone. This directive was issued following a detailed review meeting with City Zone officers to discuss the crime situation, case investigations, and public grievances.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the meeting, chaired by SSP Raza, was attended by SP City Zone Dr. Ayaz Hussain, along with SDPOs and SHOs. The meeting involved a comprehensive review of the performance of all officers and deliberations on various policing matters. SSP Raza emphasized the need for effective action against gangs involved in motorcycle theft and robbery, as well as targeting proclaimed offenders and those with prior criminal records.

He also reinforced the “No to Weapon” campaign, calling for indiscriminate action against illegal possession and display of weapons and aerial firing. Further, SSP Raza underscored the importance of a prompt response to calls through Pucar-15 and resolving public complaints with professionalism and priority. Protecting citizens’ lives and property, he stated, remains a top priority for Islamabad Police, with a focus on result-oriented actions against criminal elements.
