Minister Emphasizes Timely Completion of Key Highway Projects


Islamabad: Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan emphasized the importance of adhering to international standards in the construction of the Guru Nanak Expressway, highlighting its significance for the Sikh community. During a meeting with the National Highway Authority, he also urged the Sikh diaspora in the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States to invest in this project.



According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister advocated for the development of the 123-kilometre-long Mansehra-Naran highway as a model project, noting its potential to enhance tourism, trade, and connectivity with China. Additionally, he instructed the National Highway Authority to ensure the Multan-Muzaffargarh-Mianwali highway is completed within the next two months.



Abdul Aleem Khan reaffirmed the necessity for all ongoing highway projects to be completed within their designated timeframes, underscoring the importance of timely execution in infrastructure development.
