TEHRAN: Significant progress was reported following a meeting between Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Tehran. The meeting, which included Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, was described as positive and productive by Naqvi.

According to Radio Pakistan, the discussions centered on the ongoing Iran-US conflict, rising tensions in the Middle East, and strategies for restoring the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding. The dialogue aimed at achieving a comprehensive settlement of the conflict.

Naqvi noted that the Iranian President candidly shared his government’s perspective and concerns, leading to a constructive exchange on the issues. He expressed hope that the momentum from these talks would contribute to further progress and lasting peace in the region.
