Serene Airlines Inaugurates Flight Operations to China, Bolstering Pakistan-China Ties

Beijing, Marking a significant development in aviation and international relations, Pakistan's private Serene Airlines commenced its first flight operation to Beijing, China, today. The inaugural flight, originating from Karachi and stopping in Islamabad, landed at Daxing Airport in Beijing to a warm reception.

According to Press Information Department, Air Marshal (Retd) Farhat Hussain Khan HI(M), Caretaker Adviser to the Prime Minister on Aviation, spoke at the inaugural ceremony. He emphasized that the launch of Serene Airlines' operations to China represents a new milestone in enhancing China-Pakistan relations through improved connectivity, travel, and tourism. This initiative is part of Pakistan's commitment to providing seamless travel facilities to the people of both countries and strengthening people-to-people ties.

Pakistan's envoy to China, Ambassador Khalil Hashmi, highlighted the importance of the private sector in establishing airline services. He mentioned that the new air route would not only strengthen the air bridge between Pakistan and China but also boost investment, trade, travel, and tourism. Ambassador Hashmi added that the increased air connectivity is expected to facilitate business activities, tourism, and cultural exchanges, contributing to the growth of the tourism sector and economic ties between the two nations.

The launch was celebrated with a ceremonial event at Beijing Daxing Airport, attended by government officials, diplomats, and representatives from the aviation industries of both China and Pakistan. The event marked the beginning of a new era of increased connectivity and collaboration between the two countries.
