SENATE DISCUSSES ISRAELI ACTIONS AGAINST PALESTINIANS

ISLAMABAD, The Senate has resumed its discussions on a motion that addresses the reported aggressive actions and maltreatment carried out by Israel against Palestinians.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during the deliberations, Irfan-ul-Haque Siddiqui expressed disappointment over the perceived inability of Muslim nations to strongly advocate for the safety and rights of Palestinians. Saadia Abbasi lauded the endurance of the Palestinian people and contended that Israelis hold no legitimate claim over Palestinian territories. Nisar Ahmed Khuhro urged global entities, including the United Nations, to be proactive in seeking solutions to both the Palestine and Kashmir conflicts, emphasizing Pakistan’s enduring support for the Palestinian cause. Bahramand Khan Tangi affirmed Pakistan’s solidarity with the Palestinians during these challenging times and advocated for extending financial and humanitarian aid to them. Prince Ahmed Umer Ahmedzai vehemently censured the reported harm to innocent citizens and children in Gaza, urging Muslim nations to take protective action. Saleem Mandviwalla commended the Turkish President’s staunch support for the Palestinians. Lastly, Muhammad Qasim labeled the ongoing situation as a Palestinian genocide, noting that such severity of actions against Palestinians was unprecedented.
