According to Senate of Pakistan, the meeting was attended by several senators, including Senator Palwasha Mohammad Zai Khan and Senator Shahadat Awan, with participation from others via Zoom. The committee discussed the Islamabad Capital Territory Waterside Safety Bill, 2024, and deferred it due to procedural concerns. Additionally, the committee approved a bill granting official Blue passports to sitting and retired senators, while raising concerns about misuse in extending the facility to children.

The committee also reviewed the Criminal Laws (Amendment) (Honour Killing Prevention) Bill and deferred it pending provincial opinions. Concerns about food safety were addressed, with a direction to refer the matter to the relevant committee. Irregularities within the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) regarding cigarette thefts were highlighted, leading to directives for arrests and new Terms of Reference for the Sub-Committee.
