Islamabad: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb presented the federal budget for the fiscal year 2026-27 to the National Assembly today, as the legislative body reconvened its session at the parliament house. Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq presided over the assembly meeting during which the budget was introduced.
According to Radio Pakistan, the budget presentation is a key event in the nation’s fiscal planning, outlining the government’s financial priorities and projected expenditures for the coming year. The session provided lawmakers with an overview of the government’s economic strategy and initiatives aimed at addressing national financial needs.
