ISLAMABAD: Deputy Chairman Senate, Syedal Khan Nasar, held a meeting with Nawab Ayaz Khan Jogezai, a prominent tribal leader and Central Secretary of Pashtunkhwa Awami Party, at the Parliament House in Islamabad. The discussions centered on the development of Balochistan and issues of public welfare.

According to the Senate of Pakistan, the meeting focused on provincial development, employment opportunities, and the future of youth in Balochistan, alongside the broader political and economic situation of the country. Deputy Chairman Nasar emphasized the significance of Balochistan as a resource-rich province and its development as a crucial component for national progress. He highlighted the importance of providing basic facilities, education, and equal development opportunities to ensure the prosperity of Balochistan’s people.

Nasar further stressed the necessity of effective coordination between the federation and provinces to address the country’s challenges sustainably. He called for a collaborative approach from all political stakeholders to ensure peace and development in Balochistan.

In discussing the current budget, Nasar stated that under Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership, efforts are being made to present a budget focused on providing relief to citizens. The government aims to enhance economic stability, promote business activities, and create employment opportunities through continued stakeholder consultation.

Special attention in the forthcoming budget, Nasar noted, is being directed towards relief for salaried individuals and underprivileged segments to improve living standards. He asserted that the budget formulation aligns with public needs and national priorities. Nasar also emphasized that political stability, economic strength, and national unity are essential for Pakistan’s progress, advocating for collective responsibility in transforming the nation.

The meeting concluded with both leaders agreeing on the necessity of positive political engagement, mutual consultation, and sustained coordination to address national challenges and promote development.
