Islamabad Police Intensify Search Operations, Check Over 473 Individuals

ISLAMABAD: In a concerted effort to clamp down on crime, the Islamabad Police recently intensified their search and combing operations across the federal capital, scrutinizing more than 473 individuals.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations were undertaken following special directives from Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi. The initiative aims to curb criminal activity and was executed under the supervision of SSP Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, with oversight from the respective zonal SPs.

During the operations, authorities conducted thorough checks of 206 households, 13 hotels, 44 shops, 269 motorcycles, and 78 vehicles. As a result, 12 suspicious individuals, three vehicles, and 27 motorcycles were taken to police stations for further verification.

SSP Operations Islamabad emphasized the purpose of these operations is to tighten security measures and diminish criminal elements in the city. The police continue to take indiscriminate action against criminal elements, including land grabbers and drug dealers, across various districts.
