Retirement Ceremony Honors Long-Serving Islamabad Police Official

ISLAMABAD: A farewell ceremony was held at Rescue-15 to honor Upper Division Clerk (UDC) Raja Rab Nawaz, who has retired after approximately four decades of service with the Islamabad Police.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the event marked the retirement of Mr. Nawaz, who was celebrated for his long-standing commitment to the department. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, attended the ceremony as the chief guest, alongside other police officers.

SSP Raza acknowledged the contributions of Mr. Nawaz, emphasizing that retirement is an inevitable part of service life. He remarked that while Mr. Nawaz has served the department for many years, it is now the department’s turn to reciprocate the service. SSP Raza encouraged all officers to strive for achievements that would ensure their names are remembered with honor.

In his remarks, the SSP highlighted the importance of public service, urging officers to dedicate themselves to their duties to earn divine satisfaction. He praised Mr. Nawaz for dedicating a significant part of his life to public service and noted the respect and dignity awarded to him by the department.

SSP Raza assured continued support for Mr. Nawaz post-retirement, indicating that his office would remain accessible for any concerns. The ceremony concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation and gifts to Mr. Nawaz, along with best wishes for his future endeavors.
