Lahore: Punjab Police Khidmat Marakaz have been pivotal in offering digital services to citizens, with over 3.038 million availing these services in the current year. According to Punjab Police, the Khidmat Marakaz operate as a flagship public service delivery project, offering 24/7 assistance to citizens. Inspector General of Police Punjab, Abdul Kareem, emphasized the ongoing commitment to providing these modern services.
The Punjab Police spokesperson noted that the most utilized services included General Police Verification, availed by over 1.114 million citizens, and the issuance of Police Character Certificates to more than 562,000 individuals. Tenant Registration was completed by more than 811,000 citizens. Additionally, over 120,000 obtained Medico-Legal Certificates, while legal and social protection initiatives reached over 72,000 vulnerable individuals.
Other services provided by the Khidmat Marakaz included Vehicle Verification for 21,597 citizens and registration of Lost Documents Reports by 61,809 citizens. Crime Reports were filed by 2,247 individuals, and more than 173,000 obtained copies of First Information Reports. Furthermore, 54 Women Violence Reports were registered, while over 94,000 citizens completed Employees Registration, and 2,371 obtained Police Verification for Private Employment.
Inspector General Abdul Kareem reiterated the importance of professional conduct by police personnel at Khidmat Marakaz, police stations, and other public venues, ensuring citizens receive courteous and professional service.
