Lahore: Punjab Minister for Housing and Urban Development Bilal Yasin addressed public concerns during an open court session held in his constituency, highlighting the government’s commitment to practical relief rather than mere announcements.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, Yasin emphasized the importance of direct communication channels like open courts in strengthening ties between the government and the public. He noted that special focus was being placed on improving essential civic facilities such as roads, sewerage, drainage, and cleanliness. The minister stressed the importance of maintaining transparency and quality in development projects, urging elected representatives and administrative bodies to collaborate effectively to resolve civic issues.

Yasin also discussed welfare initiatives, including the “Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar” program, aimed at enhancing the quality of life for the common man. He instructed that the applications received during the open court be monitored regularly for progress. Additionally, he spoke on the significance of Pakistan’s alliances with Saudi Arabia and Türkiye under the Makkah Defense Agreement, asserting that these relationships, along with the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, bolster Pakistan’s status as an influential nation globally.
