Lahore: A high-level review session was convened to evaluate the progress and performance of the world’s first AI-enabled Delivery Unit, focusing on its priority initiatives and ongoing pilot projects. The session assessed key milestones, implementation plans, and the future steps necessary to transform approved concepts into practical and scalable solutions.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, Ali Dar, Advisor to the Chief Minister Punjab on AI & Special Initiatives, stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, efforts are underway to establish the AI-enabled Delivery Unit. The initiative aims to enhance the delivery of government projects through the use of Artificial Intelligence, ensuring timely and coordinated public service delivery. The review centered on the progress of priority projects, emphasizing the importance of maintaining momentum and converting concepts into viable solutions.

Ali Dar highlighted that data and AI will be integral in strengthening the monitoring, implementation, and outcomes of government initiatives. He noted that the AI-enabled Delivery Unit is paving the way for modern governance and improved public service delivery in Punjab. The Government of Punjab, he added, intends not just to introduce AI conceptually but to integrate it practically into government operations, enhancing the speed, quality, transparency, and effectiveness of services for citizens.
