Lahore, 03 Dec 2023: Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the remarkable strength and importance of individuals with disabilities in a message marking the International Day of the Rights of Disabled Persons. He hailed them as real heroes for their resilience and contribution to society.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, Chief Minister Naqvi spoke about the special significance of people with disabilities in every society, noting the Islamic tradition of caring for such individuals. He urged society to adopt a compassionate attitude towards people with disabilities and stressed the importance of raising awareness about their care and education.

The Chief Minister highlighted the Punjab government’s commitment to addressing the challenges faced by disabled persons and to their overall welfare. He mentioned ongoing efforts to make them useful members of society, including plans for upgrading facilities and services catering to their needs. Naqvi affirmed that the health and development of people with disabilities are a priority for the government, recognizing their valuable role in the community.
