Islamabad: Lok Virsa organized a seminar to mark the first anniversary of the “Maarka-e-Haq” victory, emphasizing national unity and the role of the armed forces. Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, the chief guest, highlighted the victory’s significance in restoring Pakistan’s international prestige.
According to Press Information Department, Minister Khichi stated that the Maarka-e-Haq event unified the nation and countered hostile propaganda against the armed forces. He mentioned that Pakistan gained global attention during a recent visit to Spain, with ambassadors from various countries seeking engagement. The minister noted that the event bolstered national solidarity and showcased Pakistan as a responsible state committed to peace.
Dr. Waqar Saleem, Executive Director of Lok Virsa, expressed hope that the seminar would promote unity and patriotism. Dr. Qaiser remarked that Maarka-e-Haq improved Pakistan’s global standing, demonstrating resilience against advanced hostile technology. Air Vice Marshal (R) Asad Ikram praised the efforts of Pakistani youth in cybersecurity, emphasizing the coordinated contributions of the armed forces.
Lieutenant General (R) Muhammad Raza, former National Defence University President, highlighted the nation’s unity during challenging times and the youth’s support for the armed forces. The seminar concluded with Federal Minister Khichi and Parliamentary Secretary Farah Naz Akbar distributing souvenirs among attendees.
