Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif engaged in a telephone conversation with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, focusing on regional peace efforts and bilateral relations. Both leaders emphasized their dedication to ongoing diplomatic initiatives aimed at fostering stability in the region.

According to Press Information Department, during the exchange, Prime Minister Sharif reflected on his recent visit to Doha, highlighting discussions with Qatar’s leadership, including His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, which contributed to a consensus on peace efforts. The Pakistani Prime Minister expressed anticipation for the Amir of Qatar’s visit, viewing it as an opportunity to enhance Pakistan-Qatar relations.

The Qatari Prime Minister conveyed his appreciation for Pakistan’s role in promoting peace and stability in the Middle East, assuring continued support for Pakistan’s diplomatic endeavors. Both leaders committed to maintaining close communication on matters of mutual interest.
