SRINAGAR, M Ashraf Shah Fantosh, the prominent promoter of Fantosh Readymade Garments, has died in Srinagar in what is termed “Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.”
According to a news release by Kashmir Media Service, M Ashraf Shah was the younger sibling of the late APHC leader, Altaf Ahmad Shah Fantosh. Altaf had passed away under Indian jail custody at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi on October 11, 2022.
M Ashraf Shah, 58, the son of Mohammad Yusuf Shah, had been undergoing treatment for a brain tumor. He had undergone surgery in a hospital outside the occupied region. Sadly, he succumbed to his illness earlier today. He leaves behind his wife, a son, and a daughter.
Following his passing, funeral prayers were conducted at the family residence in Buchpora, Srinagar.
