Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Pledges Swift Expansion of Asaan Khidmat Centres

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated his government’s commitment to delivering fast, transparent, and quality services directly to citizens’ doorsteps. During a meeting centered on the Pakistan Asaan Khidmat Centres held in Islamabad, he emphasized the importance of minimizing the need for repeated visits to public offices by integrating multiple services under a single roof.

According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Sharif has instructed officials to expedite the expansion of the Pakistan Asaan Khidmat Centre in Islamabad. Additionally, he urged for the swift operationalization of similar centers in Muzaffarabad, Gilgit, and Skardu. The Prime Minister also called for immediate actions to establish these service centers in Peshawar and Bannu, with plans to extend this initiative to other regions across the country in partnership with the private sector.

The meeting revealed that over 171,000 applications have been processed at the Islamabad Asaan Khidmat Centre this year, with a reported 99.5 percent of users expressing satisfaction with the services provided.
