New York: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set for a full schedule in New York today during the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly, engaging in significant diplomatic discussions and commemorative events.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister’s agenda includes bilateral meetings with Syria’s President Ahmed Al-Sharaa and Kristalina Georgieva, the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund. These meetings are expected to address various international and economic issues pertinent to the involved countries.
In addition to these bilateral engagements, Prime Minister Sharif will participate in a high-level event at the United Nations Headquarters. He is scheduled to address the gathering, which marks the 40th anniversary of the Declaration on the Right to Development, reflecting on the progress and future challenges related to this global initiative.
