ISLAMABAD: In a significant breakthrough, Islamabad Police have apprehended three members of the “Kohati” gang, notorious for their involvement in several robbery incidents. The arrests were made by a team from the Noon Police Station, which also recovered stolen goods valued at millions, alongside cash, mobile phones, and weapons used in these crimes.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, multiple cases were already pending against the suspects, who have now confessed to their participation in numerous robberies. The ongoing investigation aims to uncover further details of their criminal activities.

The crackdown comes under the directive of DIG Islamabad Ali Waseem, who has initiated a broad campaign to target individuals involved in robberies, thefts, street crimes, and other serious offenses across the federal capital. The police are intensifying efforts to bring such criminal elements to justice.

The Islamabad Police have urged residents to assist in these efforts by reporting any suspicious activities or individuals to their local police stations or the emergency helpline “Pukar-15.”
