LAHORE: In an ongoing effort to align with Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision of a greener Lahore, the Horticulture Agency Lahore has intensified its beautification and maintenance activities throughout the city. The agency is actively engaged in planting trees and flowers, as well as maintaining and cleaning green spaces, to promote a healthier urban environment.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, teams from the Horticulture Agency Lahore are working diligently from early morning hours, focusing on tree washing, planting, and cultivation of seasonal flowers. Regular maintenance activities, including watering, cleaning, and pruning, are conducted in parks and green belts to ensure the health and upkeep of the city’s flora.
The agency’s efforts extend across all zones of Lahore, aiming to maintain the aesthetic appeal of green areas and contribute to a cleaner and environmentally friendly city. These initiatives are part of a larger strategy to combat smog and promote sustainable urban living through improved horticultural care.
