President Zardari Commends Saudi Ambassador for Enhancing Bilateral Relations


ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has praised the efforts of Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Said Al-Malkiy, for strengthening the enduring and strategic ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. This acknowledgment came during a farewell meeting at the Aiwan-e-Sadr in Islamabad.



According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari emphasized the deep value Pakistan places on its friendship and strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia and acknowledged the Kingdom’s consistent support. He expressed hope that the strong foundation established during Ambassador Nawaf’s tenure would continue to steer bilateral cooperation in the future.



Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malkiy, who has represented Saudi Arabia in Pakistan since 2018, conveyed his gratitude to the President, the Government, and the people of Pakistan for their hospitality and cooperation during his tenure. He affirmed his continued high regard for Pakistan and its people.
