ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, has underscored the importance of enhancing bilateral relations between Pakistan and Qatar, focusing on trade, investment, and socio-political collaboration. The remarks were made during a meeting with a Qatari delegation led by Sheikh Nayef bin Eid Al Thani, a senior member of the Royal Family of Qatar and a prominent businessman.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chairman emphasized Pakistan’s positive role in fostering peace and dialogue at both global and regional levels. He extended an invitation to Qatari investors to explore business opportunities in various sectors in Pakistan, including tourism, agriculture, and energy.

Sheikh Nayef bin Eid Al Thani acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts in promoting peace, dialogue, and regional cooperation. The Qatari delegation showed considerable interest in investigating potential investment ventures in Pakistan.
