President of Pakistan Encourages International Investors to Explore Opportunities in the Country

Islamabad, President Dr. Arif Alvi has extended an invitation to international businesses to consider investment opportunities in Pakistan, highlighting the country’s improved business environment and growth potential.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, President Alvi made these remarks while meeting with a delegation of Oxford Alumni in Islamabad. He emphasized that Pakistan, as an emerging market, offers vast investment opportunities across various sectors of its economy, which is experiencing consistent growth.

During the discussion, President Alvi pointed out Pakistan’s focus on bolstering its economy, enhancing exports, and exploring new markets for its products. He underscored the country’s investment-friendly climate, citing the recent improvements in Pakistan’s ease of doing business ranking.

Further, the President informed the delegation about the establishment of the Special Investment Facilitation Council, which aims to support and encourage foreign investment in Pakistan through a one-window facility. He suggested that foreign investors take advantage of Pakistan’s Special Economic Zones and Special Technology Zones, where the government offers tax incentives.

This initiative reflects Pakistan’s commitment to attracting international investment and fostering a conducive environment for business growth and development.
