Islamabad, President Dr. Arif Alvi has accepted the resignation of Justice Sayyed Muhammad Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi, a judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. This decision follows the advice of the Prime Minister in accordance with constitutional provisions.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the President’s acceptance of the resignation was made under Article 179 of the Constitution. Justice Sayyed Mazahar Naqvi’s resignation marks a significant change in the composition of the Supreme Court’s bench.
