ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif recognized the valor of PIMS nurse Razia Naureen by presenting her with a Rs10 million cheque after she bravely saved a newborn from a fire. The Prime Minister praised her selflessness, stating that her actions would be immortalized in history.
According to Radio Pakistan, Naureen was invited to the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad, where she was applauded for her bravery during the incident at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences. The Prime Minister lauded Naureen’s fear of God and her willingness to risk her own life, declaring that the nation is proud of her heroism.
In addition to the monetary award, Prime Minister Sharif announced that Razia Naureen would receive the Tamgha-e-Khidmat on March 23, as an acknowledgment of her commendable services.
