Planning Minister Stresses Importance of Quality Education for Pakistan’s Advancement

Islamabad: Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has emphasized the need for providing the younger generation in Pakistan with quality education to enhance their productive capacity, creativity, and problem-solving skills. During a visit to the National Institute of Excellence in Teacher Education, Iqbal articulated the importance of moving away from rote learning and fostering critical thinking among students, asserting that the country’s development hinges on high-quality education and well-prepared teachers.

According to Radio Pakistan, during his visit, the Minister was informed about the institute’s various programs, teacher training activities, and ongoing projects. Iqbal underscored the necessity of preparing highly capable teachers as a crucial element in the nation’s progress.
