PDWP Approves Multi-Level Grade Separation Scheme for Lahore

LAHORE, The Punjab Development Working Party (PDWP) has approved a significant urban development scheme in Lahore, with an estimated cost of Rs 9961.825 million, in its 31st meeting of the current financial year 2023-24. Chaired by Chairman P and D Board Mr. Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, the meeting saw the approval of the construction of a multi-level grade separation at Shahdara Morr, Lahore.

According to Planning and Development Board – Punjab, this ambitious project is aimed at improving urban infrastructure and easing traffic flow in one of Lahore’s key areas. The scheme represents a substantial investment in the city’s development and is expected to have a significant impact on the daily lives of residents and commuters.

The meeting was attended by all members of the P and D Board and senior representatives from relevant provincial departments, demonstrating the collaborative effort in driving the region’s urban development forward.
