Pakistan’s Trade with African Nations Shows Significant Growth

Islamabad: Pakistan’s trade relations with African countries are showing notable progress as exports to Kenya have increased by 32 percent in the first nine months of the current fiscal year. The growth is attributed to a rise in the export of rice, textiles, pharmaceuticals, IT services, and renewable energy products.

According to Radio Pakistan, the export figures to Kenya rose from $251.6 million to $319.9 million. This development underscores the strengthening of economic ties between Pakistan and African nations.

In a related development, Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan met with Ethiopian Ambassador Dr. Oumer Hussein Oba. Their discussions highlighted the potential for promoting small and medium enterprises, joint investments, and industrial cooperation in African markets.
