Pakistan Seeks to Strengthen Ties with Saudi Arabia, PM Stresses at Davos Meeting

Davos, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar of Pakistan has expressed a strong desire to deepen bilateral engagement with Saudi Arabia, focusing on trade, investment, and people-to-people exchanges. This sentiment was conveyed during his meeting with the Saudi Foreign Minister, Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, on the sidelines of the annual World Economic Forum in Davos.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister highlighted the strategic significance of the close brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, which are deeply rooted in common cultural heritage and shared interests. He expressed his appreciation for the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, emphasizing the high regard in which the Pakistani people hold Saudi Arabia’s leadership and citizens.

Prime Minister Kakar underscored that the strong relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia contributes to regional stability. During their meeting, the two sides also reviewed various regional developments.
