Islamabad, July 07, 2021 (PPI-OT):Pakistan is among the first few countries that acted concretely in terms of protecting the human capital from the negative effects of COVID-19 pandemic. This was stated by Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection, Dr Sania Nishtar while speaking at the High-Level Political Forum, of the United Nations for follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals. Dr Sania Nishtar said we are using innovative financing to combat hunger by forging partnerships with philanthropists and restructuring social protection programmes for informal workers.
