Jeddah, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Ambassador Syed Mohammad Fawad Sher, has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to supporting the OIC’s peace and stability efforts in Afghanistan.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, this pledge of support was made during a meeting between Ambassador Sher and the OIC Special Envoy for Afghanistan, Tariq Bakheet, in Jeddah today. In a message, the Pakistani envoy underscored the significant role of the OIC in addressing the Afghan situation and Pakistan’s readiness to facilitate these endeavors.
Pakistan’s reaffirmation comes at a crucial time and highlights its ongoing involvement and support for peace initiatives in the region.
