Islamabad, Caretaker Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication, Dr. Umar Saif, announced that a specialized Telecom Tribunal will now handle disputes and cases in the telecom sector. This move is set to streamline the resolution process, previously overseen by High Courts.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Saif shared this development on his official social media account. The establishment of the Telecom Tribunal is designed to expedite the settlement of legal issues and foster rapid progress within Pakistan’s telecom sector.
This initiative marks a significant shift in the handling of telecom sector disputes, aiming to provide a more focused and efficient resolution mechanism.
