Pakistan Celebrates First Anniversary of Marka-e-Haq with National Unity

ISLAMABAD: At the first anniversary ceremony of Marka-e-Haq, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to peace while affirming the country’s preparedness to deliver a decisive response if war is imposed.

According to Radio Pakistan, Tarar spoke at the event organized by the Press Association of Supreme Court, highlighting the solidarity of the nation with the armed forces during the conflict. He attributed the success of Marka-e-Haq to national unity and cohesion, noting that Pakistan achieved significant victories on narrative, diplomatic, and military fronts.

Tarar praised the Pakistan Air Force and the nation’s air defense system for their effectiveness, particularly referencing the downing of Rafale aircraft. He claimed this victory shattered India’s arrogance and garnered international recognition for Pakistan. The conflict concluded with a ceasefire requested by India, to which Pakistan agreed, demonstrating its preference for peace and dialogue.

The Minister also acknowledged the pride instilled in overseas Pakistanis and lauded the responsible role of Pakistani media during the conflict, contrasting it with the Indian media’s approach. He credited the youth, social media users, and various professionals for their proactive role in countering propaganda.

In his address, Tarar credited the success to the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and military leaders, including Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, and Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf. The ceremony concluded with a cake-cutting event, symbolizing national pride, unity, and solidarity.
