Islamabad, In a bid to enhance bilateral cooperation, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have agreed to expand their partnership in media, drama, and related fields. The agreement was reached during a meeting between Pakistan’s Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi and Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, both countries have expressed a commitment to accelerate the implementation of existing media and communication agreements. The discussions also touched on the upcoming meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) set for 12th November, with Pakistan reaffirming its active role in the OIC as a founding member. Solangi extended goodwill towards Saudi leadership, and the Saudi Ambassador extended an invitation to the Information Minister to visit Saudi Arabia.
