Pakistan and Saudi Arabia Strengthen Bilateral Ties at World Economic Forum

Davos, In a recent meeting on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, discussions between Pakistan’s Caretaker Prime Minister, Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, and the Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister, His Highness Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, highlighted the strategic significance of their countries’ relations.

According to Press Information Department, Prime Minister Kakar emphasized the deep, brotherly ties between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which are founded on shared cultural heritage and mutual interests. He expressed Pakistan’s eagerness to enhance bilateral engagement, focusing on trade, investment, and people-to-people exchanges.

Prime Minister Kakar commended the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, noting the profound respect and esteem that the people of Pakistan have for both the leadership and the citizens of Saudi Arabia. The meeting also provided an opportunity for the two sides to review regional developments, with Prime Minister Kakar remarking on the importance of the strong relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia as a stabilizing factor in the region.
