Beijing: Pakistan and China have announced plans to strengthen their military ties, particularly in air force cooperation, following a meeting between Pakistan’s air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu and Chinese Defence Minister Admiral Dong Jun in China.
The meeting underscored the shared commitment of both nations to rejuvenate their strategic alliance. Discussions emphasized the enhancement of air force-to-air force collaboration, focusing on complex and aggressive tactical-level scenarios during upcoming aerial exercises.
The renewed cooperation aims to equip both nations’ air and ground crews with the skills required to address modern air and space warfare challenges. The joint exercises are expected to tackle challenges across multiple domains.
During his visit, Air Chief Marshal Sidhu also engaged with several dignitaries, further solidifying the cooperative spirit between the two countries.
