Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Pledges to Dismantle Terrorist Networks Threatening Pakistan


RAWALPINDI: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, has declared Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to dismantling terrorist infrastructure wherever it endangers the nation and its citizens. During an interaction with participants of the 20th National Workshop Balochistan, held in Rawalpindi, he emphasized the ongoing operations against entities such as Fitna al Khawarij and Fitna al Hindustan, affirming that these efforts will persist until terrorism and its supporters are eradicated from Pakistan.



According to Radio Pakistan, Field Marshal Munir highlighted the consistent efforts of security forces and law enforcement agencies, stating that these efforts, along with the steadfast backing of the populace, aim to bring enduring peace to Balochistan. He remarked on the persistent attempts by foreign-sponsored proxies to incite violence and disturb stability in the region, asserting that these threats will be met with a resolute response from the Armed Forces, bolstered by the resilience and unity of the Pakistani people.



Field Marshal Munir lauded Balochistan as a significant part of Pakistan, rich in natural resources and populated by vibrant and patriotic individuals, which he described as the province’s greatest asset. He pointed to ongoing development initiatives by both federal and provincial governments aimed at transforming Balochistan’s socio-economic landscape through an inclusive approach. Furthermore, he commended the contributions of civil society, academia, media, and youth in promoting national integration and contributing to the province’s long-term peace and prosperity.



In his concluding remarks, Field Marshal Munir emphasized the necessity of national unity and perseverance to determine the country’s future trajectory. The session concluded with participants reaffirming their shared commitment to Pakistan’s stability, progress, and sovereignty.
