Pakistan and Australia Advocate for Peaceful Conflict Resolution


ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Australia’s Foreign Minister Penny Wong have called for peaceful resolutions to global conflicts, underscoring the significance of dialogue and diplomatic engagement. In a recent telephone conversation, both leaders highlighted the potential economic ramifications for developing nations if conflicts persist.



According to Radio Pakistan, Deputy Prime Minister Dar briefed Minister Wong on the Islamabad Talks, which took place on the 11th and 12th of this month. During their discussion, Wong praised Pakistan for its constructive role in facilitating dialogue between Iran and the United States, as well as its ongoing commitment to fostering diplomatic solutions.



The conversation between Dar and Wong also addressed concerns about the broader economic impact of unresolved conflicts, with both leaders stressing the importance of diplomatic approaches to prevent further strain on the global economy.
