Islamabad: Half of Pakistanis do not name a favorite team in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), while Lahore Qalandars lead among those who do have a preference, according to a recent survey.
According to Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 50% of the respondents did not express a specific team preference in the PSL. Among those who did, 17% favored Lahore Qalandars, followed by Karachi Kings with 11% and Peshawar Zalmi at 10%. Smaller percentages named Multan Sultans (5%), Islamabad United (4%), and Quetta Gladiators (2%). The survey also reported that 45% of respondents were unsure, and 5% did not respond, highlighting limited team allegiance at the national level.
The survey was nationally representative, conducted among 787 adult Pakistanis across urban and rural areas in all four provinces. It was carried out from January 15 to February 3, 2026, using telephonic surveys (CATI). The margin of error is estimated at ± 2-3% with a 95% confidence level.
