Islamabad Police Intensify Search Operations to Enhance Security


Islamabad: In an effort to enhance security and curb criminal activities, the Islamabad Police have intensified search and combing operations across several districts of the federal capital. These measures, directed by Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, aim to tighten the security framework of the city.



According to Islamabad Capital Police, the operations were carried out under the supervision of zonal SPs in multiple police station jurisdictions. A total of 785 individuals were checked, along with inspections of 271 houses, 30 shops, 13 hotels, 347 motorcycles, and 99 vehicles. As a result, 25 individuals deemed suspicious and 20 motorcycles were taken to police stations for further legal proceedings.



SSP Operations Islamabad Qazi Ali Raza highlighted the operations’ primary goal of reinforcing security measures against criminal elements. The police force is committed to taking continuous action against criminals, including land grabbers and drug traffickers. Citizens are encouraged to cooperate with police efforts and report any suspicious activity through the emergency helpline “Pucar-15” or at the nearest police station.
