Pakistan and Al-Bawani Holdings Sign LOI to Enhance Employment for Pakistani Workforce in Saudi Arabia

Arabia, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Jawad Sohrab Malik, signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Al-Bawani Holdings during his visit to Riyadh. This agreement aims to leverage the skills and capabilities of the Pakistani workforce for construction projects in Saudi Arabia.

According to Press Information Department, during his visit to Al-Bawani Holdings, SAPM Malik, along with dignitaries including HE Ambassador Ahmad Farooq, discussed various aspects of mutual cooperation. Al-Bawani Holdings, a major player in the construction sector in Saudi Arabia, has been involved in around 250 projects and is currently engaged in projects worldwide. Recognizing the competence of the Pakistani workforce, the LOI with the Overseas Employment Corporation (OEC) marks a crucial step in fostering collaboration and opening new job opportunities for Pakistani professionals and workers.

Furthermore, Al-Bawani Holdings committed to establishing a state-of-the-art HR training center in Pakistan. This center will focus on enhancing the skills of the Pakistani workforce in line with international standards, thereby boosting their global employment prospects. Malik emphasized that this initiative would not only meet the workforce needs in Saudi Arabia but also enable Pakistan to export skilled labor internationally, reflecting a significant stride in Pakistan’s human resource development.
