Pakistan Achieves Significant Milestone at UNESCO

Islamabad, Pakistan has secured a significant victory by attaining the vice-chair position for the 2023-2025 term at UNESCO.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting revealed that during the 218th Session of the UNESCO Executive Board held in Paris, Pakistan garnered 38 votes, surpassing India’s 18 votes. Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from member states, affirming Pakistan’s commitment to upholding UNESCO principles and fostering cooperative multilateralism.
