National Assembly Speaker Mourns Loss of Superintendent Ghulam Mehdi

ISLAMABAD, Speaker of the National Assembly, Raja Pervez Ashraf, has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Ghulam Mehdi, Superintendent of the Speaker’s Office at the National Assembly Secretariat. The Speaker conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Ghulam Mehdi, acknowledging the significant loss and impact of his sudden demise.

According to National Assembly of Pakistan, Speaker Ashraf described the late Ghulam Mehdi as a dutiful and capable officer whose absence will be profoundly felt. In his condolence message, he empathized with the family, stating that he shares in their grief during this difficult time.

The Speaker prayed for the elevation of Ghulam Mehdi’s soul and for strength and patience for his family to endure this irreplaceable loss.

Other senior officials and staff members of the National Assembly Secretariat, including Secretary Tahir Hussain, Special Secretary Syed Shamoon Hashmi, Additional Secretaries Chaudhry Mubarak Ali and Muhammad Mushtaq, Secretary to Speaker Saeed Ahmed Maitla, Director General Media Zafar Sultan Khan, and Director to Speaker Muhammad Mushtaq Ahmed, also expressed their grief and condolences. They joined in prayers for the deceased and his family.
