Islamabad, August 16, 2023 (PPI-OT): Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that constitution guarantees provision of all fundamental rights to Minorities in Pakistan. He also said that ensuring their safety and security is a state responsibility which is enshrined in constitution of Pakistan. Furthermore, He denounced vandalism and incidents of violence against Minorities in Jaranwala.
Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that Minorities are free in Pakistan and enjoys all fundamental rights. He said that safeguarding their places of worship is state and collective responsibility. He also added, ” such incidents of violence and vandalism may be a conspiracy against Pakistan.” He stressed on the need to fix responsibility of such incidents and demanded that culprits behind such mayhem must be brought to justice immediately.
Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf also strongly denounced desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden. He termed such heinous efforts to create disharmony among believers of different faiths. He stressed on global community to play their role for stopping such incidents.
