Mushaal Mullick Calls for Global Action Against Human Rights Violations in IIOJK

Islamabad, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Human Rights, has called for international intervention to address the human rights violations committed by India in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, speaking at a seminar for Right to Self-Determination Day, Mullick emphasized the need for the global community to take concrete measures against India for its actions in IIOJK. She urged for India to grant unfettered access to international observers and human rights organizations to assess the situation in the region.

Mullick appealed to various societal segments, including academia, Ulema, and journalists, to vocalize the struggles faced by Kashmiris under Indian rule. She stressed that it is crucial for all to unite in exposing the oppression perpetrated by India in IIOJK.

Furthermore, she strongly condemned the Modi government’s persecution of minorities, particularly Muslims, in India. Mullick accused the Modi administration of following RSS policies aimed at undermining minority rights and enforcing Hindutva ideologies in what is claimed to be a democratic and secular nation.

These statements highlight the ongoing concerns regarding the human rights situation in IIOJK and the broader context of minority rights in India.
