Srinagar, August 28, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, senior APHC leader and the President of Anjuman Sharie Shian, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi has expressed concern over the constant ban on the Friday congregational prayers in Srinagar Jamia Masjid.
Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi in a statement issued in Srinagar said, now Friday congregational prayers are being offered with precautions in all religious and Yuma (Friday) centres of the Valley and only the ban on Srinagar Jamia Masjid has no justification.
He strongly condemned the non-human behaviour of the officials and police for removing the houses built on hayfield at Magam in Budgam. He said that such houses had been constructed many decades ago and during this long period, no government tried to remove them. He expressed sympathy with the victims, saying that there is no justification to target the poor people and added that the authorities should find another solution to the matter.
Meanwhile, the President of Jamiat Ahle Hadees Jammu and Kashmir, Professor Ghulam Muhammad Butt Al-Madni while addressing a ceremony in Srinagar, condemned the continued ban on the Friday congregational prayers in Srinagar Jamia Masjid. He also demanded immediate release of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.
