Islamabad, The Modi-led Indian regime is reportedly utilizing advanced technologies to suppress freedoms and instill fear among the residents of occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, The Indian forces, including the army, paramilitary, police, National Investigation Agency, and State Investigation Agency, are said to be conducting relentless cordon and search operations in the region.
The report suggests that since the Indian government’s controversial actions in August 2019, Kashmir has been subjected to heightened restrictions and surveillance. The Kashmiri people reportedly experience frequent privacy breaches, as the regime monitors and intimidates them. One of the latest tactics includes equipping police with GPS tracker anklets to further limit the residents’ freedom. The police also have access to major social media platforms, allowing them to monitor dissent against the occupation.
The situation in Kashmir is described as grim, with killings, house raids, detentions, torture, and property seizures becoming commonplace. The report highlights that October alone saw 17 deaths from Indian forces’ actions, contributing to a total death toll of 96,263 since January 1989.
