Islamabad: Minister of State for IT and T, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, has commended engineering students from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) for their commitment to developing innovative engineering projects. She praised their dedication to research and innovation, highlighting their efforts in advancing technology in Pakistan.

According to a statement by Press Information Department, the NUST engineering teams have been engaged in these projects for 12 years. Each new cohort builds on the work of their predecessors, ensuring a continuous flow of research and technology transfer. During her visit, Minister Shaza Fatima examined a Formula One car designed by the students, which showcased their technical skills and expertise.

The NUST team’s work has received international recognition, with Tesla sponsoring them in acknowledgment of their achievements. Minister Shaza Fatima expressed her pride in their accomplishments and reiterated the government’s support for research and innovation in higher education.
